  1. I woke up to the sound of destruction. I got out of bed quickly ran to the basement. Mum and Dad were already there. I wondered why they didn’t wake me up. I didn’t bother to ask im sure there was some explanation behind it. I asked dad what was happening. He did not respond. I asked again but still not a word spoken. Mum said we were in the middle of cyclone. Dad then said it’s not a cyclone he said that we were being taken by….. I woke up. Phew it was just a dream!

All of a sudden my brother is screaming it's coming it’s here, there's a tidal wave. “3 years later”. 4. “AAAAHH!” screamed Maddie as she ran. There was a fierce tsunami coming in and Maddie felt like it was chasing her. Sure, she was drenched in water but that didn’t stop her from running back home. Trees were swaying back and forth violently. The wind was powerful enough to blow a fully-sized adult away, but Maddie tried to put all of her weight into her feet. No one was around to help her. They were all inside their homes, hiding under their bed sheets. Finally, MAddie had reached her destination. Her home. She pressed the doorbell a hundred times, until her mum opened the door. Maddie ran into her mum’s arms and closed the door.

  9. I wake up by a gentle breeze slapping my face. I search trying to see where people are. No one. NOT even a single person the beach. I get off. Finally, I notice a person run away. “HEY! Do you know what happened?” I ask harshly. I do admit I could be more polite but at this point, but couldn’t. “Uhhhhhh…….well there is told by the Meteorologists that a tsunami is arriving.”I gasp, Suddenly, the person runs away. I look behind my back. Huge waves suddenly arrive behind my back. A wave of fear runs down my spine.

  10. “and that would be it for today!” I groaned. I was going to watch the weather forecast, but I missed it. I sighed and looked out the window. Sunny. Perfect weather for a picnic I thought. I started to pack lots of things for the picnic. I went outside and set off. There was no one on the road. Strange, its usually always busy on this road. I got there and unpacked the picnic.I picked up my sandwich, Just then a big swift wave of yellow dangerous sand came and knocked me out. WOW… so much for a picnic!
