25 Years of Rights for Children

25 Years of Rights for Children

2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.  Earlier this year Miss Lee's brother Michael (the pilot) came into our class to explain to us why planes stay up in the air.  Well Michael is currently working at the United Nations in Geneva with the Marist Brothers who have a seat with the Rights of the Child.

He has put together this video to explain to our class what the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is all about.

What did you learn from the video?  What questions do you have for Michael?  Why do you think the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is important?  Comment below with your answers to these questions.  We will see if Michael can answer some of our questions.
